Dudley Pope - historian and navy fiction writer

Dudley Pope (29 December 1925 - 25 April 1997), was a British writer of nautical fiction and history. He is a very well-known writer of navy fiction and wrote very well. His books are almost without exception excellent reads and very entertaining. He is one of my personal favorites in the navy fiction genre.
